These 1 day courses are designed for people who have done some climbing on climbing wall that want to learn the skills and techniques for climbing on rock in the outdoors.
The syllabus includes placing trad gear, building anchors. Top and bottom rope systems. I will also cover belaying if people have only climbed on bouldering walls.

Introductory Rock Climbing Courses
A 2 day course for people who haven’t done any climbing at all. No experience is needed.
I will teach you all you need to get started in this growing and exciting pastime.
From moving on rock, selecting and using equipment, keeping yourself and others safe to what to have for lunch and what clothes to wear! This is the total package concentrating on safety, learning and fun.

Belay Building Workshop
A half day Workshop for people who want to learn how to build effective anchors or just want to refresh their skills or are just a bit rusty.
The course covers, selection of appropriate equipment, placing trad gear, building belays, rope or slings?, equalization and crucial knots.
This is not a one way street. There is plenty of opportunity for us to discuss different systems an learn from each other.
